Sarah & Fergus — Ashridge House Wedding Film

Ashridge House is close to home for me — I live just down the road — so it's a venue I've come to know well and one I always enjoy working at. That's before you get to the building itself, which is outstanding inside and out.
Sarah and Fergus were married on the indoor staircase, which is one of the most visually striking ceremony spaces I film at anywhere. It gives you height, natural light, and a sense of occasion that's difficult to manufacture. Afterwards the day moved outside into the Italian gardens for a sunny afternoon party — June weather doing exactly what you'd hope, sun and cloud trading places all afternoon.
It was a genuinely fun day to film. Fergus and I have since arranged to play a round of golf together, which I'm looking forward to.
