Hi, I'm Dean. Before weddings, I spent fifteen years touring with bands like McFly and The Vamps, directing music videos for the Jimmy Fallon show, and making documentaries that screened in cinemas. Six years ago I started filming weddings — and still work with bands alongside, currently making a documentary with Five. Whatever the subject, the instincts apply: disappear into the day, follow the music, and trust the moments to tell the story. I think of my wedding films as cinematic documentaries, not Hollywood productions.
