Poppy & Jason - Danesfield House

Danesfield House is one of my favourite places to film. The house itself is extraordinary — a great white mansion sitting in the trees above the Thames — and it's a venue that rewards a drone more than almost anywhere I work. From above you get the white exterior against the woodland and fields, and the river at the bottom of the gardens. It's hard to shoot badly.
Poppy and Jason's day had a very particular look to it — Vogue-ish, styled, considered — and a couple and a crowd who were up for enjoying themselves from the start. Very hot, very sunny, and a lot of fun.
The team at Danesfield were excellent, as they always are. It makes a real difference on the day: when the venue staff have everything under control, I can concentrate on filming rather than working around problems.
