I'm Dean Sherwood, a luxury cinematic documentary wedding filmmaker based in Hertfordshire. I film weddings across Buckinghamshire — from Danesfield House and Hedsor House to Waddesdon Estate, Stowe House, Notley Abbey, Cliveden, The Langley, and Caswell House — as well as throughout Hertfordshire, Hampshire, and the wider UK.
Cinematic documentary means you won't be pulled aside for setups or asked to repeat moments. I work quietly in the background, capturing everything as it unfolds — then craft it into a film-quality edit that reflects the real emotion and atmosphere of your day. A chronological edit of your full day including natural audio — think your dad's camcorder, only more cinematic. By far the film I get the most love for.
All films delivered within three weeks of your wedding day. Standard turnaround is 12–14 weeks.
Your guests watch a highlights film of the day so far, screened before your wedding breakfast entrance. Something special to discuss — included in the Heirloom package.
