Berkshire Wedding Videographer
I'm Dean Sherwood, a cinematic documentary wedding filmmaker. I film luxury weddings across Berkshire — at Coworth Park in Ascot, Ufton Court near Reading, and The Old Mill at Aldermaston. Wedding film packages start from £1,800, with a second filmmaker and drone footage included as standard. Filming across Berkshire through 2026, now booking 2027.
Your job is to enjoy your day
That's genuinely how I think about it. I arrive early, I stay late, and I'm invested in your day going well — not just in the film I take home from it. If something needs a hand on the day, I'll help. You should be in your wedding, not managing it.
The film comes from that. Couples who feel looked after look different on camera, and it shows in the edit.
Filming at Coworth Park
Coworth Park has a stylish, almost Italian feel to the interiors, and it's one of those places where every room gives you something. The bridal suite with its balcony is a wonderful space to film preparations in. The reception room has beautiful window light. And the gardens run out into open fields at the back, which in summer means you can put a couple against a setting sun and let the light do the work.
Filming at Ufton Court
A Grade I listed Tudor manor house and Tithe Barn set in sixteen acres near Reading, on the Berkshire and Hampshire border. Sophie and Sam were married there in July 2026.
"Dean and Alina were amazing. They made us feel at ease and really comfortable while they did what was needed — Alina really blended in. A lot of our guests commented on how nice Dean was, which was great to hear. We now have our content clips and wedding teaser back and the quality is amazing — it even made some of our family members cry watching it. Exactly what we wanted and more."

Filming at The Old Mill
Emily and Dan were married at The Old Mill in Aldermaston in May 2026 — a ceremony in the conservatory, and a day that started at Emily's parents' house with the kind of energy that carried straight through to the evening.
"Dean was absolutely incredible from start to finish. Relaxed, friendly, and so much fun to have around on the day, making everyone feel completely at ease. The teaser film is everything we could have dreamed of and more — it perfectly captures the atmosphere, emotions, and joy of the day."

A documentary approach
Documentary means real moments, caught as they happen. I'll guide you gently if you need it, but mostly I'm watching and waiting — letting your day unfold with all the warmth and laughter that makes it yours. No staged setups, nothing repeated for the camera.
Most couples tell me afterwards they barely noticed I was there. That's the idea.
Cinematic, and what that actually means
Shot on high-end cinema cameras, with a second filmmaker on every wedding covering angles that would otherwise go unseen. Drone footage is included as standard where weather and venue restrictions allow — I'm fully qualified, insured and CAA-registered to fly commercially.
The point of all that isn't the kit. It's that when you watch your film back years from now, the emotion comes flooding back — not just what happened, but how it felt. That's the difference between a wedding film and a wedding video.
Before your Berkshire wedding
Around a month before the day I'll send you a questionnaire — the schedule, the people who matter, the music you're into. Then we'll do a Zoom and walk through the whole day together.
By the time I arrive, you already know exactly what to expect. So you can just be in it.
