Coltsfoot Country Retreat Wedding Videographer | Sophie & Luke's Hertfordshire Wedding

Coltsfoot Country Retreat, Datchworth, Hertfordshire · 28th July 2025 · Cloudy but warm

Sophie and Luke's day at Coltsfoot was a reminder of why this venue is one of my favourites to film at.

The Getting Ready

The groom in the shepherd's hut, the bride in the main house — two completely different worlds to work with, and the Italian-style gardens sitting right in between as a backdrop that never gets old. There's a natural rhythm to the day at Coltsfoot that I really appreciate as a filmmaker; the layout gives you room to breathe, get a proper first look in, and still arrive at the ceremony with time to spare. That's not always a given.

The Wedding Breakfast

The wedding breakfast room is a dream to film in — naturally lit from both sides, spacious, and easy to cover with multiple cameras. Good light and good space make a real difference, and Coltsfoot has both.

The Alpacas

You can't not mention them. Completely unique to the venue, and they always go down a storm.

It was a fun, warm atmosphere from start to finish. Hope you enjoy the teaser above, Sophie and Luke — looking forward to getting the full film over to you both.

Packages start from £1,200 — see what's included or get in touch.
