St Leonard's Church, Bengeo & Hertford, Hertfordshire · 5th September 2026 · Sunshine
Ebonie and Jason's wedding was a proper Hertford day, from start to finish, and I hope you enjoy the teaser above.
The Morning
They got ready together at home in Hertford, with 28 guests. That made it a small, relaxed day in the best way. Afterwards the two of them walked to the church together — a lovely way to start a ceremony.
St Leonard's Church, Bengeo
The ceremony was at St Leonard's Church in Bengeo, led by Rev Robert. Afterwards there was confetti and portraits in the church grounds, which work beautifully for a St Leonard's Church Bengeo wedding.
The Sound of the Teaser
The teaser feels really authentic to me, and that's down to the sound I built it around: Ebonie's son, Robin, singing during the ceremony. Once I heard it, I knew it had to be the heart of the film.
Brunch at Ember
The reception was a brunch at Ember on Fore Street. They made their entrance to Fatboy Slim's "Praise You", which was exactly as good as it sounds, and there was a glitter bar too.
The Woolpack
The evening moved to The Woolpack by Mill Bridge for pub games, the cake cutting, the first dance and karaoke. A brilliant, proper-party end to the day.
