My film style is natural, and, because it’s my nature, naturally romantic. Through my experience, using natural light, composition and the very top of the range video gear, carefully-selected music and narrative audio from the day, I will spend days editing your story to best represent you and your special day.

Blending into the crowd is what I do best, all my years of filming documentaries have taught me ways to be able to catch those moments - the laughs, the tears, the faces and heartfelt hugs, without making you or your guests feel intimidated by my presence. I prefer to think of my wedding films as cinematic documentaries as opposed to Hollywood film productions.

A few weeks before your wedding date, after you’ve filled out my Wedding Film Questionnaire we will arrange a zoom call, sit down and chat through the day, I’ll also answer any pre-wedding day questions you may have.

I usually arrive around 3 hours pre ceremony and i’ll leave in the evening when the time feels right for me and the edit, we’ll talk more about that in our pre wedding zoom call. If weather/location allows i’ll fly my drone too.

Because I love making films, I work slowly and intentionally. This means I only take on a very limited number of weddings each year, ensuring that I give each couple my full and undivided care and attention. Your content creation package will arrive within a few days of your wedding and your full wedding films are usually delivered within 3-6 months.

Remember your dad or uncle filming everything holiday or at a birthday party, this is that, only, I hope, slightly more artistic and cinematic. This is a chronological film of your day including camera recorded audio, it’s by far the film I get the most love for.

As you’ve probably read, I made my video career through music videos and touring with bands so it seems fitting I bring some of that knowledge across to your wedding day. The Music Video is literally your days best bits edited to music, each wedding is different so each video is as well. The difference between that and a highlight film, is the highlight film includes spoken word from your day to tell a story, hence it gets the ‘film’ title.

The same day edit is available where possible, dependant on venue and the schedule of your day. A good example is a recent wedding. I stopped filming at 4pm, edited for two hours and screened ‘the day so far’ highlights to all the guests on a projector before the couple made their wedding breakfast entrance. It’s something we’d need to discuss, available as an add on and included where possible in the Heirloom package
